Hike in Rock Creek Park 

Up for a family hike out in nature? Rock Creek Park is one of the oldest national parks in the country. Filled with history, nature, and lots of activities, this is the perfect park to take your family if you’re looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Play at The Kennedy Center + The Reach 

The REACH is an interactive and inspiring arts and culture center in the heart of DC. Relax on the lawn or work together on a hands-on activity made to foster creativity and connection.

A morning walk in Capitol Hill 

There is something about being in the heart of the nation’s capital that makes you appreciate the city all the more. The National Mall offers many beautiful monuments and gardens that are perfect for strolling in the morning hours before they become busy with tourists. Planning your family photos at this location is sure to give you lots of education and history, not to mention some beautiful photos!

An evening walk in Navy Yard
