Enjoy the Cherry Blossoms at the Tidal Basin
I know what you are thinking: it’s too damn crowded. But seriously, nothing says spring in DC quite like the cherry blossoms. Take a morning walk along the Tidal Basin before the crowds arrive, let the kids run around the Jefferson Memorial, or bring a picnic to soak in the pink and white blooms. If you’re looking for a quieter spot, head to Dumbarton Oaks or the National Arboretum for a more relaxed cherry blossom experience.
Visit the National Arboretum
